ASBO
I walked passed a yellow tram shelter on Southsea seafront, it was a bright day and the sun lit up the gloss paint. A simple red graffiti mark had been sprayed onto the windows of the shelter. I raised my camera to my eye and remember being excited, knowing that it would look great as a print.
A few weeks later I revisited the same spot. Unsurprisingly the council had removed the graffiti, and to me the shelter looked bare now it was gone. It was then that I realised I had documented something that will never be seen again. Love or loathe it, you have to accept that on occasion, graffiti is better left than removed.
